Does HardwareRenderer require a specific EGL Configuration?
It looks like android.view.HardwareRenderer$Gl20Renderer requires a very specific framebuffer (RGBA8888) when choosing an EGL configuration (https://android.googlesource.com/platform/frameworks/base/+/b361b3043bb351ab175ae1ff3dae4de9fe31d42b/core/java/android/view/HardwareRenderer.java).
Does this mean Android devices must provide an RGBA8888 formatted framebuffer in order to take advantage of hardware acceleration?
